Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Hands-on Review

After getting into the depth of Redmi Note 3, I came up with my detailed review of the performance, design and all the aspects you are looking for in this smartphone. Since Xiaomi has launched, it improved in its technology and quality and Redmi Note 3 is the live example of the improvements they have made on their smartphones.

The fantastic response could be seen when the smartphone went out of stock after a few days it was made available to order. I was also into the crowd that was cheering up for Redmi Note 3 build and success.
Finally, I decided to buy this one and saw that there was only one piece remaining in the stock and in other stores it was already out of stock and labelled as Coming Soon. After trying so many times, I successfully placed the order.

It was as I snatched it from Lion’s mouth because the smartphone went out of stock the next second.

So, the story is over and let me take you to a quick ride of the Redmi Note 3

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Review

Xiaomi redmi note 3

As a device in the NOTE series, It had to compete and compare with the features of other devices available in the same price range. And I feel that Redmi Note 3 has broken the heights of awesomeness.! Awesomeness? Yes.

Build and Design

The BIG smartphone with a compact metallic body has a non-removable battery and hybrid SIM card tray (1 Nano and 1 Micro). The design is very simple like Micromax Canvas Juice 3 which is not very slim, though. And even Redmi Note 3 is not very thin.

I did not like that backlit colored buttons in Note 2 very much and glad that Note 3 has non-colored backlit buttons.

You won’t find 8.65mm thick Redmi Note 3 as a Slim smartphone if you think “Sexier the thinner”.. Sorry.. “Slimmer the sexier”. Carrying the phone is easy and you can talk holding it near to your ears without any paid in your hand as the smartphone is lightweight.

Display and Interface

The 5.5″ multi-touch capacitive touch screen with one hand operation mode makes it a unique smartphone. “high-quality features for best price”? Not only me, anyone gonna find it inconvenient to use the phone with one hand and that’s why one-handed mode is introduced.

I could turn my Redmi Note 3 into a 4.5 inch, 4.0 inch or 3.5-inch smartphone using the one-handed mode and stick it to left to use the phone with left hand and right for the right hand.

At-least I am impressed with this feature.

1080 x 1920 px resolution entertains me with HD videos where I can adjust the contrast, screen color temperature so that it is not harmful to my eyes. If you want to adjust the color temperature and blah blah things on your smartphone screen, you can download, install and use Twilight mobile app from Google Play Store.
MIUI is unlike usual Android phones with an app drawer. However, I like

Performance, Processor and Battery

Loaded with 4050mAh Long Lasting Non-removable battery, Redmi Note 3 has blazing fast 1.8GHz Hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor which could handle games like Grand Theft Auto 5, Asphalt AirBorne 8 and Real Racing. (on 2gb Ram version).

I play Games 1 hour a day, click 3-4 pictures a day on an average and keep the wifi, and mobile data turned on 24×7 and my phone never said “battery low” within a day after it was fully charged.

The smartphone comes with 2gb Ram and 3gb Ram and even 2gb version is all over in the sky of smartphone lovers.

Camera and the Fingerprint Unlock

The camera is something that does not make me feel like I have a smartphone that has 16mp Rear and 5-megapixel front facing camera. I used to take much better clicks on Micromax Canvas Juice 3 (8mp read Camera).

You can setup screen lock and add your fingerprints to have an additional unlocking option. Fingerprint scanner does not take time and can only be unlocked from your fingers (Many tried their finger, but they could not unlock.. 🙂 ). Fingering is not a good habit, though.

Wrapping Up

Y in brackets.. Whenever I type it on facebook, it turns into a thumbs up.

Yes, it’s a thumbs up to Xiaomi for the amazing device.
